Ideas to Create Retail Excitement
Reader Review: This is without doubt the best book on creating
retail excitement that I have ever seen, and I have read more than a few.
The ideas expressed herein are easy to use, not expensive, and truly do
work. This is a book that gives you the nuts and bolts of exactly how to
create retail excitement, not just a lot of gray area fluff. In addition to
the ideas provided, this book will help you to get your own creative juices
flowing. I am very appreciative to Mr. Falk for his help. This is a book
that is worth many many times its cost. Not an expense, this book truly is
an investment.
Retail
in Detail : How to Start and Manage a Small Retail Business Reader
Review:
I am thinking about starting my own small business & found this book to
contain very good info about what to do & even more important what not
to do. Gives both the pros & cons of starting your own business in a
enjoyable reading style but does not sugar coat the difficulties involved. I
found lots of helpful info about who to contact & where to go to get
both additional info & purchasing wholesale.
Small

Steal
Me Blind! Shoplifting & Retail Theft...And How To Stop It Without Getting
Sued.
An excellent tool for any LP staff, Reader Review: I got
more information out of Rich's book than any of the criminal justice texts
I've read over the years. Having worked for companies with good loss
prevention programs as well as companies with poor programs I can relate to
the "Policy B" stores talked about in the book.

Promises delivered, Reader Review: This book did what the author promised. It gave us the basics to open a small
specialty shop, with no previous experience. She gave excellent advice from
marketing ideas to inventory procedures to bookkeeping methods. I still refer to
it as we progress in our business.

Start and Run a Profitable Secondhand Store, Reader Review:
The book not only gives great business information but it gives the fun side

After reading this book, it gave me the inspiration to continue with my dream
to open a secondhand or resale shop which I'll be opening summer of 2000!

You Want to Own the Store : Secrets to Running a Successful Retail Operation
A must-read for any aspiring retail entrepreneur, Reader Review:
Mort Brown offers indispensable advice to people considering going into retail
business for themselves. His conversational style and examples from his own
experiences running a candy shop and a pet store offer the reader a
behind-the-scenes look at what goes into the retail operation. From the daily
interaction with customers, to the satisfaction that comes from being your own
boss, Brown shares his wisdom on every topic related to running a profitable

One wonders how many retail failures might have been successes if only their

taken his advice to heart.
